Fleet Landing is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook [Part-Time] to support our baking and pastry program across multiple dining outlets, including fine dining, fast casual, grab-and-go, healthcare dining, and catering. This role works alongside or independently from the Pastry Chef to produce high-quality baked goods and pastries using scratch, box-scratch, and convenience methods.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts to meet the needs of different dining concepts.
Follow recipes and maintain high standards for quality, taste, and presentation.
Operate and maintain a hearth oven for artisanal breads and rolls.
Apply strong baking fundamentals and techniques (proofing, decorating, plating, filling, etc.).
Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with inventory, storage, and daily cleaning tasks.
Communicate effectively with culinary and dining teams.
Qualifications
35 years of professional baking or pastry experience required.
Vocational training in Baking & Pastry Arts preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and a passion for quality.
